When you use Hypermedia Docs, we collect:
- Account information: Email address and name from your GitHub account (via OAuth)
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and deployment activity
- Content: Documentation files you publish through the Service
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Service
- To authenticate your identity
- To send transactional emails (deploy notifications, team invitations)
- To improve the Service based on usage patterns
Data Storage
Your documentation content is stored on our servers and optionally backed up to Cloudflare R2 object storage. Account data is stored in our database.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- WorkOS: Authentication and SSO
- Cloudflare: CDN, DNS, and object storage
- Resend: Transactional email delivery
- GitHub: OAuth authentication and webhook integration
Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Documentation content is retained for 30 days after account deletion to allow export.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Export your documentation content at any time
Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication (session tokens). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
